1. Website Privacy Practices

What we collect on our website:

When you submit an admissions or general enquiry form on our website, we collect:

• Your full name
• Your phone number / WhatsApp contact number
• Your child’s grade or class (if provided)
• Any message or specific inquiry you choose to include

We do not collect personal information from visitors who simply browse the website.

How we use website enquiry data:

We use this information exclusively to respond to your admissions enquiry via phone call, WhatsApp, or email. We do not sell, rent, or share your contact information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

Website Analytics:

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor aggregate visitor traffic trends. It does not use tracking cookies and does not track or profile individual users across external websites.

2. Mobile App Privacy Practices

Who the mobile app is for:

The RCC Mobile App is an institutional management and academic learning platform designed exclusively for enrolled students, parents/guardians, and faculty of Rudra Coaching Center. It is not an open public social network. All user accounts are created, provisioned, and managed directly by authorized RCC administrative staff.

What data the mobile app collects:

• Identity & Contact Information: Student and parent/guardian full names, phone numbers, home addresses, and enrolled class/batch.
• Student ID Card Information: Blood group and emergency contact numbers, collected solely for printing on the student’s physical ID card in case of medical necessity.
• Academic & Attendance Records: Daily classroom attendance records, homework assignments, test scores, exam marks, and academic study material access.
• Fee & Payment Records: Tuition fee dues, payment history, payment mode (Cash/UPI), and generated PDF fee receipts for administrative accounting. (Note: The app does not process or store credit/debit card numbers or netbanking passwords).
• Photos & Documents: Optional profile pictures, optional homework proof uploads, and academic problem snapshots submitted to the AI tutor. Homework proof photos are automatically deleted from our cloud servers after 30 days.
• Push Notification Tokens: Device identifiers used solely to deliver real-time attendance alerts, fee due reminders, and urgent center announcements.
• Security Credentials: Account passwords stored using cryptographic PBKDF2 hashing. Plain-text passwords are never stored.

3. Rudra AI Guru (Academic Assistant & Doubt Solver)

The mobile app includes "Rudra AI Guru", an interactive doubt-solving assistant for CBSE, ICSE, and GSEB board curricula:

• Server-Side Processing: Academic questions, mathematical formulas, and optional textbook problem photos submitted by students are processed securely through our backend server proxy (https://api.rudracoaching.in/api/ai/guru).
• Zero Third-Party Training: Academic doubt queries are never used to train public AI models and are never sold or shared with advertisers.
• Privacy by Design: Personal identifiers (such as phone numbers, home addresses, or financial records) are never transmitted to the AI processing layer.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

• Data Encryption: All data transmitted between the mobile app and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS / TLS 1.3 encryption.
• Hosting Infrastructure: Data is hosted securely on Cloudflare D1 (SQL database) and Cloudflare R2 (encrypted object storage). Push notifications are delivered via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• Retention Policy:
  • Homework submission photos are automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Academic and fee records are retained for the duration of the student's active enrollment and standard institutional record-keeping.
  • Soft-deleted records are kept in a protected recovery bin before permanent administrative purging.

5. Children's Privacy

Many of our students are minors. Student accounts are created and managed by RCC staff and parents/guardians as part of normal school administration. We do not display third-party advertisements, sell student data, or engage in behavioral tracking of children.

6. User Rights & Account Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time.

Alternatively, you can contact our administrative desk in person or via WhatsApp to request immediate account deactivation and data purging.
